Whilst nosing around on the Carpology website the other day I noticed an old article by James Vincent.
I do enjoy reading what he has to say as it is common sense and to the point.
Indeed he made one point that I’ve been mulling over for quite a while so I thought I’d pick up the baton from James, so to speak.
Not wanting to lull the fish into a predictable pattern we decided that Wednesday would see us flip our tactics on their head.
After travelling through the night on the Friday, we hopped off the Euro tunnel in the early hours and headed south to the quiet corner of Normandy where the lake is situated.
It’s not everyday you get the opportunity to fish a lake that has barely seen a line in the water. But, back in December, whilst reporting in at the Angling Lines office I was asked by Bridget Dawson if I’d be interested in field testing a lake that wasn’t open to the public.
