An Exciting New Chapter?

Since moving back to Yorkshire about nine months ago I’ve been enjoying lots of fishing on a variety of waters for lots of different species including Carp.

Whilst it has been great to explore the vast array of lakes and rivers that are at my disposal in this part of the world I’ve felt like there often hasn’t been much consistency to my catch rate as a result of this nomadic approach.

Observing the Seasons

Over the winter I packed away the Carp fishing gear in favour of targeting a few other species over the colder months.

I feel it’s important to practice a diverse array of methods and also to observe the traditional seasons of our great sport. Not only does it improves your general watercraft but it also keeps your angling year filled with excitement and variety.
